Full smoke testing of appliances, plus inspection of ropes, seals and cement for carbon monoxide leaks. Essential for appliance safety and peace of mind.
Safe clearance of bird nests and debris blocking chimneys. We ensure the flue is completely clear and fit for use after removal, with follow-up inspection.
High-definition CCTV camera inspections allow us to identify cracks, blockages or structural issues deep inside the flue — giving you a clear picture of chimney health.
Thorough cleaning and maintenance of log burners, stoves and fireplace inserts. Keeps appliances running at peak efficiency and extends their working life.
Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency chimney issues. We work flexible hours outside traditional 9–5, including evenings and weekends.

Nick Van Dyke Chimney Sweep is a family-trained business, with skills and expertise built up over generations. Nick completed a thorough apprenticeship with established chimney sweep traders in London before bringing those skills to Surrey and the surrounding counties.
Based between Guildford, Woking and Dorking, we serve a wide area across Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire and south London. We are committed to continuous professional development to ensure our customers receive the safest and most up-to-date service.
